I know there are a lot of preferred methods out there (straight into carb, mixing with full/empty tank of gas) and I was wondering what you guys do.

Thanks.

Of course. Read the instructions on the can, or their site. It's very versatile. i've used it on all of my vehicles. Depending on the vehicle and need I've used it one of three ways.

1) In the gas tank as an additive.

2) Down the brake booster line while running as a top end cleaner.

3) In the crank case about 50-75 miles prior to oil change.

I use it in my car about once a year. I put it in through the PCV valve, let it sit for about 10 minutes and then fire it up and watch the smoke show. I had the fire dept called once, it was pretty funny. Go to youtube and search for sea foam. You would be surprised at all the smoke.

It can also be used as a fuel stabalizer in the tank if you store your vehicle for long periods of time.

If you manage to kill the motor while pouring, do not keep pouring after motor is off. Depending on where everything stopped you could end up with a nice case of hydro-lock. Water doesn't compress well.

Seafoam....hmmmm...every time I tried to get some, the foam would go away...I'd be right at the waters edge, get some of that foam, but in just a few seconds, it'd be gone :(

I use it in the fuel, but I also added some to the engine oil. Probably should have changed the oil right away, but it didn't say to do that on the bottle. Left it in for about a month and 600 miles. Then drained the oil. Engine must've been pretty clean (had 36K on it then), 'cause the oil looked really good coming out. After adding it, I got a little nervous about clutch problems, etc., but absolutely no adverse effects were seen or felt.
